New member of the family

would love to pronounce a new additional to my family, 'Laptop - XcR-7'. it's aint a super laptop this time, just a real simple managable laptop. (at least it let me pop farcry2 and fallout3, praying it would be SC2 ready and perhaps D3)

again, mind the grainy effect of the photo, resize using the provided MS photo manager (sux)
and, NO, i dont have photoshop installed yet, or any software, currently busy downloading backups of drivers sets, vista ready software (because my old berAcle (laptop) is running on xp-based software) and probably gonna reformat everything by this week, anyone out there has a window Vista Ultimate 32 DVD? i dont wan to use my recovery disc, wanna do clean installation (cd-key not required, gonna use the provided cd key)

and soon, i will spam photo like mad again... ;)

or maybe not, xlink kai probably will tie me up for months

please dont mind the quality of the picture, because i dont have any proper editing software in this current computer, so i have to use window's resize tools, the compression is high (locked) thus the photo is grainy. will reupdate once my laptop comes.

laptop, VERY DEAD. bluescreen from starting windows to playing dvd to listening to mp3 to... everywhere anywhere...all the time... whyyyyyyy

check ram -fine, both = fine (btw, the Bluescreen never show memory dump, thus it's not memory)... run stress test in DOS, fine~~
check motherboard dimm slot - fine, swaping in and out with plenty of sodimm ram lying around... run stress test in DOS again, fine~~
check harddisk - no bad sector, boot sector clean, worst is...

my HDD is totally wiped out right after the first bluescreen, all photoes gone, 50gb+ gone! over 15k photoes...

reformat hdd - reinstall window, over 8 count now,... btw, hdd always crash due to the bluescreen.
check southbrigde - integrity still there.
check bios - no known error. trying to flash, but i perfer not to rish a bluescreen while flashing.
bluescreen error from a simple file crash to whole (sudden) lose of dlls, to system not found?!?!?! is like a fucking parade of blue screening...

ohya, finally i decide to well, last resort, low level zerofillings ;) hope it fix it, because once i had a case where i build a fucked rm15k (AMD FX series) system for a frind that crash bluescreen, lag playing any game... the last resort to fix it were well, zerofill...(google it)

Shot at AP F8, 5 sec, iso200. with 20mm(Sal1870) creativemode standard +2 +2 +2

anddd... i update my Header's Banner! funny, it's totally opposite side on the photo i shoot above

*some tips: what apperture to use when u take daylight landscape? as small as possible, best at F8 and above... this is so that it will have best DOF and sharpness.
Now, what do u use to take landscape at night? some people will thought of using shutter piority and set it to 4sec or something, but the AI of the camera (metering) will auto select the apperture, but if the area u shoot is too dim, it will shoot at very large apperture (F3.5) to compasate and even with 4sec exposure, the photo wont be as sharp. Always use AP and shoot at F8 and above. let the camera decide the exposure time, sometime u'll get a little over expose, just dail the EV down to -1 or -2, and shoot in raw so u able to do more post processing later.

i personnally love to use F8, so the lightsource wont have too much of line flare bloom, F8 is just average enough... using F5.6 will give u a gaussian flare bloom. :) try it... find the apperture of ur liking :D

It's been too long while i last posted. Today is mother's day,
yesterday, my dad ask me to bring the family out for dinner tonight and pay for it... but, i am not fancy bout going out paying for dinner, i'm the kind that prefer to cook at home! (yea, i love to cook!) and last night i went to buy some stuff from mystore and Boulevard.

current now, 2:30, i am cooking halfway... prepared the material for cooking an hour ago, will try to post up the photo later.

well, actually, lately i been busy with an assignment (a paid one) thus i went MIA, also, i started a new investment, hohoho, this investment take time, and could last forever with great returns, what investment so good u asked? well the return are full of happiness :D... it's part of relationship called, "soulmate".

then when i am ready to cook the beef, do i realise, I DONT HAVE AN OVEN!!!!!! crap, went around the store-room to dig out something that can be use to cook it, i knew there were some mini oven somewhere~...found it and bad news!!!! i need 350degree, and the mini over only can blast 250degree, that's 100degree below!!! what the heck, cook nia...

and it works! 250degree and i smell something burning 15 minute into the oven... some onion are burned charcoal black...

but wait for another 10minute, i see the water inside start boiling, that's a good sign, water boiling mean vapor, vapor mean, my dish wont get burn into charcoal! yay...

btw, i have a great memory to share, regrading sony service centre, they replace my damage DSLR component in less then 2 hours, seriously, less then 2 hours! kudos to them! (the damage component? my LCD cracked at the worst possible timing) and would like to thanks the lady who served me (forgotten her name) and Albert (albnok from alphanatics) for guiding me the route and process of RMA my LCD screen :D
